Agaie local government area is one among the local government areas endowed with much potentials and in view of the the important position Agaie local government occupies in the history of British occupation in Nigeria and Islamic Jihad in Northern Nigeria. The existing historical sites including beautiful natural lakes, tick vegetations, works of art and craft, monuments abound, each having his unique appeal.
BARO UMPIRE HILL:
Baro umpire hill was the seat of late luggard colonial administration. Its topography with it scenic beauty makes the ancient Baro Town a must go tourist destination.
Although the relics of lord Luggard administration as Nigeria 1st colonial governor general are preserved in the flat hill top giving the tourist a comfortable over head view of this historic ancient city-Baro

HF radio transmitting station, Recreational facilities, dilapidated plants/machines and vehicles, relaxation spot remain visible.
There is also a colonial cemetery prominent among them is the grave of Dr D.A Smith a pioneer boys scout who (died in 1903) was the founder of of the West Africa frontiers force that metarmorpnhosed into the Nigeria army.
In the heydays of colonial administration, the Baro port was very vital for the movement of good too and foreign countries . Baro port then had an added advantage of being the terminous of an inland rail- line from Minna. Relies of the colonial warehouse at the port still exist.
TSODE HUT AT FOGBE:
Many years ago, before the advent of mallam babba, a small round hut roofed with thatched appeared mysteriously at Fogbe.

During the expeditions and wars carried on at the Zhitakos by late mallam babba, the Tsode hut served as protection to the people of Fogbe.
One amazing feature of Tsode hut to the people is that despite it small size, it accommodates whatever number of people that is available to go in.
It is also believed that all invocations offered in tsode hut are certainly answered.
It is an abomination for the village head of Fogbe to set eyes on the village head of the nearby village- Kibban. It is feared that there meeting could lead to the death of one.
It is also an abomination for whoever reign as Emir of Agaie to see the Tsode hut.


LUKPA RIVER AT EWUGI:
Mallam babba and his brother suleimanu never had it easy on the Ewugi people because of the protection Lukpa river provided.
Saveral attempt made to conquer ewugi was not successful. Whenever mallam Babba and his brother Suleimanu crept into Ewugi with their army, the entire army became flooded with Lukpa river.
The Lukpa river never dries; it habors all species of aquatic animals but a taboo to either fish consume fiish from lukpa river.
HRH Late Etsu Muhammadu Bello OON (1953-1989) had great passion for the preservation and sanctity of Lukpa River. Every Friday he sends warning signals on the danger of consuming Lukpa fish.
Till date, no one dares consumes Lukpa fish as no amount of boiling softens it. Hitherto, whenever an attempt to cut Lukpa fish proves difficult because of it hardness, the sliced part resurrect when thrown back to the river. Mallam Babba brother Suleimanu died at Ewugi.
WANZAYA HILL:
During the early expeditions and jihad (Islamic war) to conquer Agaie and establish islam, Masaba of Bida’s army launched several unsuccessful attacks on mallam babbas army. The Wanzaya hill, north ward of Agaie gave the desired protection.
Pati wanzaya as it is called; will miraculously enlarge, barricading the entrance to Agaie whenever enemy attack is sighted.

Historically, Pati Wanzaya served as garkuwan Agaie i.e a mask in terms of danger or war.
